Background:
St Margaret's Church of England Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. It is housed in generous buildings, comprising ten bases and a large practical area in each of three departments, upon which the bases open. It has a large hall, its own school kitchen, a reference library, and ICT suite for research work and very good outdoor amenities. The classes are arranged in groups according to the age of the children. Each class includes children in all abilities. The school follows the national curriculum guidelines and endeavours to ensure that appropriate levels of teaching are given to all pupils. St Margaret's has an excellent reputation for PE and sport, regularly achieving outstanding results in soccer, tennis, cricket and gymnastics. This school is a safe and secure place where children are happy and learn to care for each other.
