Background:
The school was originally Ilfracombe's grammar school and benefits from many of the facilities of the old school. There is a large hall, gymnasium and playing field as well as a playground. Facilities include a library and two computer suites fully equipped with internet connection. It has two well-equipped purpose-built computer suites with computers connected to the World Wide Web. Each child will be allocated an e-mail address and more information regarding the school and its organisation is in the process of being published on its website. All children are expected to participate fully in its games programme that takes place every week. The school aims to provide the best possible education and every effort is made to bring out the best in all pupils.
