Background:
The school was built on the North edge of Plymouth in 1978. It serves a small, crowded community and also takes pupils with speech and language difficulties from all over the city. It offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities - from judo to origami and a variety of clubs for adults - from family workshop to Bingo. The school is highly inclusive and is very proud of its record of successes supporting pupils excluded from other schools. The school believes that its children and parents learn best through developing positive and friendly relationships with everything it does.
