Background:
Holsworthy Community College is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. Holsworthy Community College is the vibrant, successful centre of learning for a large rural area of beautiful North Devon. ICT access is a vital component of the learning process. The college has five dedicated computer suited plus extra provision in departments across the site. There are excellent sports facilities including extensive playing fields, a modern sports hall and the use of a heated indoor swimming pool adjoining the sports hall. The main sports provided in the college include hockey, netball, basketball, rugby, football, cricket, rounders and athletics. The school aims to provide a caring environment where young people are able to develop and work as members of a community.
