Background:
Dartington Church of England Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The school housed mainly in cedar classrooms plus the original building dated 1850. There is a hall and a large Dutch barn that gives cover for outdoor activities in wet weather. At Darington Primary School it runs a range of clubs at lunchtime and after school. These include music, French club, chess club, nature club, football and netball clubs. The school has an annual sports day and provides after-school clubs in netball and football. The school has an active music centre providing instrumental tuition to over 100 pupils each week. There is a school orchestra and choir. The school aims to provide a stimulating, vibrant atmosphere in which all its children can reach their full potential.
