Background:
St Cuthbert Mayne School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school has undergone a major expansion to provide a new sixth form centre, an enlarged library and resources centre. A major building programme was completed providing the school with a new teaching block, a new sports hall, new music and drama suite. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. In addition, there are numerous visits, residentials, fieldwork, exchanges and outward bound activities which enhance a rich curriculum. The school aims to develop each young person to their full potential within a Christian environment.
