Queen Elizabeth's Community College is an 11 to 18 comprehensive school, which has both Technology College and Training School status. The school's new community-learning centre, which has been extensively, refurbished with a new library, sixth form centre or extra computer facilities. The upper school sports hall, with a well-resourced multi-gym, teaching room and very large playing surface is the centre for many lessons and after-school clubs. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include swimming, aerobics, badminton, netball, football and rugby. The school aims to create a learning environment where everyone feels safe, confident and valued.
