Background:

Morchard Bishop is a Voluntary Aided Church of England primary school. There are two separate departments for boys and girls with separate heads of each. Morchard Bishop is a pretty village nestling in the rolling hills of the Devon countryside eight miles north of Crediton. Laptops are used in every class through the wireless network. The school has a tradition of musical expertise and is well-equipped with a wide range of musical instruments. In addition to class music lessons all pupils' who show aptitude and enthusiasm are encouraged to play an instrument. Children are encouraged to develop their skills, co-ordination and confidence through movement in gymnastics and dance.
