Background:
Highfield Primary was formed when the infant and junior schools amalgamated in 1998. Since then the school has had a major refurbishment and opened a new community room. Children enjoy a range of clubs including computing, dance, choir, netball, judo and soccer. It has a strong sporting tradition and regularly takes part in local netball, soccer and tag rugby tournaments. The school aims to be 'Extremely inclusive and embraces the challenge to develop all its children's potential providing an environment where children are motivated to learn'.
