Background:

The school was officially opened in 1974, following the closure of the Church school in South Milton. It then became known as All Saints' Church of England School - this used the designations of both parish churches and was intended to grant a corporate image with which pupils and parents in Thurlestone and South Milton could identify. The school is on a pleasant site affording magnificent views of the coastline and has substantial space, both within the school and its grounds. The school has various facilities for the pupil's such as: four classrooms in the main building, temporary classroom at rear of school, school hall used for assembly, lunch, Physical Education, drama, music, Small library, Recently built computer suite, Special Education Needs (SEN) areas for teaching children in small groups, Staff room and office, Shower room, first aid room/Disabled lavatory, marked out playground, playing field, environmental areas, gardens, hard area at front of school and a separate cloakrooms for infants and juniors.
