Background:
The school is set in its own grounds in the heart of Christow, a village in the Teign Valley, which lies on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Currently, It has 74 children on roll. The original school building dates from 1880 but a school existed in Christow long before that. The school has just completed a major extension and refurbishment project, which has provided greatly improved facilities for the children and staff. The sensitive design has tastefully combined old with new and the improved accommodation means the school now boasts a well resourced library and an ICT suite with 6 networked computers as well as an interactive white board. The school has built an adventure playground to complement our existing play facilities.
